In october 08 only 4 weeks after our son was born, her grandson, Kathy turned a very bright yellow
colour and felt poorly all the time. After investigations from the doctors she was diagnosed with a
terminal pancreitus cancer which had spead to her liver. She was only 63 when she passed onto a
better world in Feb 09.
She hung on to see her 3 sons together for the first time in 18 years and before she got to poorly
to speak we had a good 2 days together in hospital where we saw her smile at having her sons
together.
Kathy was like a Mother to me, , , she was like a mother to everyone. She had so much love to give
and she was the least selfish person i know. She had a tough life in an abusive marriage among many
other things. But no matter how tough her hard life was .. she was always there for everyone. When
she first moved to our small village in Aldridge it only took her about a month to get to know
everyone and realize the teenagers had nowhere to go so she fought hard to open a youth club for
them which she ran with her son daniel and she helped so many teenagers change their ways for the
better. All the teenagers still visited Kathy even after she retired from the youth club .. That is
just one example at how Kathy lived her life for others.
Kathy was an amazing person and we miss her every day.
Kathy left behind 3 sons and 3 grandsons the youngest was only 6 months when she left this world and
we are so glad she got to see him and spend precious time with him before she grew her angel wings
which she so truely deserves, Although prehaps not so soon.

Your very missed every day and i wish you were here to celibrate your birthday. You would only be 64 today! We are having a quiet day in thinking about you and spending it with Keiren. I hope your having a big celibration up there with dave dixie and everyone else you are with. Lots of fun and laughing i hope.

Hey Kathy :D
i just wanted to let you know how proud you would be of Dan. He is finally following his dream and becoming a chef. He started his course last week and before the end of his course he will have a job and he will be earning in his dream career.
Also .. Keiren is one now he is growning up so lovely he is such a happy little boy and he is so clever.
Kenny is doing well is James is still staying out of trouble.
I miss you, so so much.

We do not need a special day
To bring you to our minds.
